Mik Kersten is the President and CTO of Tasktop Technologies, lead of Eclipse Mylyn and member of the Eclipse Architecture Council and Board of Directors. Mik’s involvement in open source started with the AspectJ team at Xerox PARC, where he implemented the first tool support for aspect-oriented programming. He then created the task-focused interface during his PhD at the University of British Columbia and co-founded Tasktop Technologies, the company behind the Mylyn project. Mik likes building tools that offload our brains and make it easier to get creative work done.
