Josh Berkus is on the PostgreSQL Core Team, and leads Sun Microsystem’s PostgreSQL contributions and support. In addition to 10 years of experience as a database applications consultant, Josh has been involved with numerous open source projects, including OpenOffice.org, Bricolage, LedgerSMB, Perl, OpenBRR and the Open Voting Foundation.
He is also on the OSCON selection committee and the board of Software in the Public Interest, Inc, and speaks at five to ten conferences a year. In his 10 minutes of spare time per week, Josh makes pottery and cooks.
