I like the business card example.
The same obstacles for modeling this in a relational database, occur in modelling objects too. Try a single Java Business Card object

Sweet interview! I loved the parts about OODBs and Shiva Plugs. I bought one of those things and have Railo and CouchDB installed on it. As soon as I can get a stable IP for it, I plan to host my blog on it using CouchDB for Coldfusion ( http://couchdb.riaforge.org/ ).
